This latest version addresses the most common user requests, notably the addition of metric input support. It now enables users to select between imperial and metric estimating functions and set default units for future entries, enhancing flexibility and efficiency in project planning.

The application allows comprehensive estimation of entire landscape projects, including components such as sod, seed, topsoil, mulch, beach stone, decorative rocks, boulders, paving stones, gravel base, sand leveling courses, plant material, labor, equipment, overhead costs, and taxes. This enhancement significantly expands its scope and usefulness for professional estimators.

All entered data is securely saved within the app, ensuring that users do not lose progress if they choose to pause and resume their estimates at a later time.

The system is designed for easy editing of key landscape industry variables, such as different labor rates for various roles—including skilled laborers, crew leaders, and supervisors—allowing tailored cost calculations for diverse project requirements.

Four additional database modules facilitate saving, editing, and reviewing customer information, supplier contacts, and pricing details for goods. This feature responds directly to user feedback for better data management capabilities.

The currency symbol adapts automatically to the country-specific setting, ensuring accurate financial representation across different regions.

Users can sum multiple items for comprehensive bids—including new entries like paving stones and maintenance services—addressing frequent user requests for more robust estimating options.

The app now includes a plant list with associated costing features, fulfilling another popular user request for more detailed landscape scheduling and budgeting.

This professional-grade tool supports material quantity calculations alongside cost estimates covering labor, equipment, and overheads. It functions as an all-in-one solution for estimating project costs efficiently.

Results can be exported via email as neatly formatted documents suitable for client proposals or project documentation. This feature enhances communication and record-keeping for project management.

Unique to this application is the ability to customize specific formulas using user-defined data—implemented with clear indicators within the calculator interface—to allow advanced adjustments without compromising overall stability.

During mulch calculations, users can specify the purchase method—by cubic yards or bags—and input parameters such as mulch depth and bag size, providing precise requirements tailored to purchasing preferences.

All calculator prices—including rolls of sod, seed quantities, topsoil cubic yards, mulch volumes and bags, beach stone cubic yards, rocks and boulders (by weight), paving stones (by square footage), gravel base, sand leveling courses, geotextile fabric, and landscape fabrics—are customizable through the setup screen to reflect current market prices.

The app includes a dedicated field for tax calculation based on regional regulations and supports additional line items for delivery charges and rental fees.

For project tracking purposes, users can assign project names and addresses within the system—most beneficial for contractors managing multiple projects simultaneously.
